Keni is a senior solicitor in our Dispute Resolution team. He advises clients in a variety of civil and commercial matters including property-related disputes, professional negligence claims, sports disputes, actions for defamation, contentious executries, contract disputes and complex debt recovery actions. He has acted in many intellectual property disputes, such as breach of copyright, trademark infringement, passing off, and domain name disputes.
Keni appears regularly in the Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland and has instructed and worked alongside Junior and Senior Counsel in high-value and complex actions litigated in the Court of Session (in both the Inner and Outer House). Additionally, Keni represents clients in sporting tribunals and sport disciplinary committee hearings. He has also represented clients during mediation and in other alternative dispute resolution platforms, including at the World Intellectual Property Arbitration and Mediation Centre.
Keni has the benefit of having worked as a paralegal in the Intellectual Property and Debt & Asset Recovery teams, prior to qualifying as a solicitor.
