Effective legal advice on brand protection and management
At Harper Macleod we have a multi-disciplinary brands practice, dealing with all aspects brand management, both contentious and non-contentious.
We are one of only two Scottish firms to retain a global filing and prosecution practice in respect of trade mark rights, and the only Scottish firm to offer a holistic service, which includes substantial domain name management, monitoring anti-counterfeiting and customs management services.
Our support offering also sets us apart from pure trade mark attorneys, due to our ability also to advise and assist on brand related legal matters and clients’ wider business interests.
In our contentious practice, we are regularly instructed upon infringement cases, both in the UK and abroad, either managing that litigation ourselves, or in conjunction with our network of trusted foreign advisors.
Our team is recognised for its expertise in the World Trade Mark Review, the Legal 500, and Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession and by Managing IP, and includes specialists in the field accredited and certified by the Law Society of Scotland and the World Intellectual Property Organization.
