Ian is a consultant in our Elgin office with a wide range of experience in general practice in the Moray area since moving there from Edinburgh in 1992. He is a former partner of well-known local firm Wink & Mackenzie which joined forces with Harper Macleod in September 2019.
Ian specialises in private client work – house purchase and sale, powers of attorney, wills and succession planning and executry administration. He also has wide experience in residential estate agency matters.
Over the years Ian has acted for a number of local property developers in site acquisition, marketing and sale of residential properties. Ian also advises many local family businesses and deals with a range of commercial conveyancing and leasing work.
He also acts for a number of local sports clubs, voluntary organisations and charities.
Ian is regarded as a “Recommended Lawyer” in Commercial Property by Legal 500.
