Being a child in the Scottish justice system
Our forthcoming “Seen, Heard and Respected?” conference, jointly hosted with Scotland’s national children’s charity, Children 1st, aims to highlight the multifaceted experiences of children within the Scottish justice system. By examining the challenges and opportunities of the process, we hope to promote better alignment of the policies and legislation in relation to children’s rights to justice and their implementation in practice.
We will hear from a number of experts including policymakers, practitioners and advocates. Our confirmed speakers so far include:
