Harper Macleod has advised Andrew Goodwin, founder and chief executive of national IFA firm Truly Independent, on the significant investment into the business by the Marlborough Group.
Truly Independent, which boasts a roster of 75 financial advisers and has assets under management of £1.5bn, will look to utilise the investment to support its ambitious growth strategy.
The Marlborough Group has been managing investments for more than 30 years and currently looks after the investments of more than 200,000 private, corporate and institutional clients, with more than £11bn of assets under management.
Corporate partner Craig Ramsay led the Harper Macleod team advising Andrew Goodwin.
