OUR TEAM
Wendy advises the firm’s public, housing and third sector clients in relation to commercial, regulatory and public procurement issues.
With a long career in the public sector prior to joining the firm, she is acutely aware of the complex and politically sensitive issues which impact public sector projects. With that in mind, she advises clients on complex, high value and high profile projects in the public sector. Wendy provides advice to clients on legislation and statutory interpretation, the powers and duties of public bodies, good corporate governance and getting decisions right first time. She also advises on complaints processes and investigations.
Her extensive knowledge of data protection and information law means that she is able to work with clients to provide practical solutions to presenting issues.
Wendy is a tutor at the University of Strathclyde where she provides training on data protection and information law in the public sector.
Wendy is recognised as a ‘Leading Associate’ in EU & Competition by The Legal 500 and as an ‘Associate to Watch’ in Data Protection & Information Law by Chambers UK.
